Musical Heroes

Assalamualaikum semua! Hope you all and family sehat sentiase kayh =)
Today, got a very nice topic I guess to tell to all of you. Music! Yes, it's music!
For those who doesn't know yet, I'm a guitarist and drummer. Took formal classes, guitar since darjah satu, ended darjah 4, sebab jari tak cukup panjang untuk gred 4 huahahaha. Then, sambung drum class pulak, after spm, just for a month, then busy, then now, at Jordan wakaka. Performed much at ASiS, my SPM's school, got a lot of nickname, Slash blablabla (I'll tell you bout that later) weee.
OK, my influences in guitar are so varies, they influenced my techniques, my skills, my way of playing, so, let's through it all yaa =D. They are undoubtedly creative, high-skilled and so wonderful as they deliver their message in a such smooth and extreme way. Now, let me classify them to three genres, Rock, Metal (heavier than rock) and Blues and according to their specialities for example melodic etc... based on my humble opinion yaa =)

Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold) - Metal - Speed, Melodic

Kirk Hammet (Guitar), Lars Ulrich (Drum), James Hetfield (Guitar), 
Cliff Burton (Bass) (Metallica) - Metal -

Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) - Grunge Rock(Alternative) - Creative 

Christ (Bass), Dom (Drum), Matt Bellamy (Guitar) (Muse)- Rock - Creative, Lyrical

Rudolf Schenker (Scorpions) - Rock - Melodic, Creative, Emotion

Daron Malakian (System Of A Down) - Metal - Speed, Creative

Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Rainbow) - Rock - Melodic, Creative, Techiques, Extreme

All the above are my idols in music. 

Their own identity always reminded me that, you must develop your own style, it cannot be created, it will just appear on its own :) 

My greatest salute to all of you that help me getting better in playing music. 

Oh now I have some interesting facts about them hehehe. You may hear the songs mentioned below ok.

1) Ritchie Blackmore made the world's most famous guitar anthem, 'Smoke on the Water' 

2) Slash created 'Sweet Child of Mine'

3) Metallica is the most famous metal band maybe, so wide variation of style

4) Tony Iommi played the 'Iron Man' song

5) Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven composed for his dead 4-years-old son

6) Randy Rhoads died at 26 after a helicopter crash

7) Kurt Cobain died at 27 after commiting suicide (shooting his head by shotgun), he hated fame, he composed songs before writing the lyrics, which is rarely done by other people

8) Yngwie Malmsteen is very classical soloist, he has lightning-fast fingers

9) The Beatles is the FIRST band in history to perform first live show on BBC. George Harrison died of cancer, John Lennon died of murder.

10) Chuck Schuldiner is also called Father of Death Metal. Died of cancer.

11) Santana use a lot of Latin sound in his music, popularizing Latin sound

12) Brian May, an astrophysicist, composed famous themes 

'We are the Champions' and 'We will Rock You' 

13) Synyster Gates influenced by jazz

14) Steve Vai has very long and smooth finger, master of slide and bending of strings

15) Rudolf Schenker composed most famous rock song, 

'Rock You Like A Hurricane'

16) Daron Malakian is very outspoken in his song, very fast picking

17) Matt Bellamy is master of guitar gadgets because he uses a lot of guitar effects in his songs

So guys, thats all for today. Now, you know who influenced me in my way of playing music. A lot huh? Hahahaha thats why I love to hear a lot of songs, to make music that is universal hehehe. 

New mission, dakwah in form of metal...weird huh? 

But nevermind, I'll try, InsyaAllah He will help me, nourishes me with a lot of ideas. 

Before terlupa, people called me Slash blablabla maybe because I'm hebat hahahaha...just joking...just they said I am great...but for me, no who's great or not, it's just matter of individual skills :)
